Preserving America’s Living History

Founded in 1996 | 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization

American Legacies Organization is dedicated to preserving the personal histories, family traditions, photographs, oral histories, genealogical records, and community memories of everyday Americans.

We believe history is preserved not only through famous people and major events, but also through the experiences of parents, grandparents, veterans, farmers, pastors, teachers, factory workers, homemakers, and countless others whose lives have helped shape our nation.

Every family has a story.

Every community has a history.

Every person leaves a legacy.
