Tom Brauns - Texaco

This is a picture of Tom Brauns in his garage wearing a hat with the Texaco Logo and a shirt with the Logo, also.

Tom's first job was at the Sandridge, Indiana, Texaco station. He started there when he was 15 years old.The building is still there. Now it has a sign "BJ's Pizza."

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here is a picture of Tom's grandson, Karter, holding a 1972 calendar from the Sandridge, Indiana, Texaco Station where his grandad used to work.

Here is a plaque from the Richland, Indiana, Lions Club. It has the names of men and women who donated both time and money to benefit Richland and Luce Township. Sandridge is in Luce township and just down the road from Richland.
