So many days stand out in the memory of a mother as she reminisces the times her children have truly made her life worth living. Two such days were the weddings of my two sons and daughters-in-law. When each couple blessed me and touched my life forever by allowing me to sing at their weddings. To say that this was a difficult task to accomplish is an understatement. Each event deserving its own story.

The average age of an American soldier is 19 years.

He is a short haired, tight-muscled kid who, under normal circumstances is
considered by society as half man, half boy. Not yet dry behind the ears,
not old enough to buy a beer, but old enough to die for his country. He
never really cared much for work and he would rather wax his own car than
wash his father's; but he has never collected unemployment either.

This is how jelly was made between 1900 and 1910 in England.

All fruits for Jelly making should be gathered just before they are fully ripe and on a dry day. Acid fruits are most suitable as they contain more pectin – the jellying principle - than the sweeter varieties. Strawberries and blackberries are difficult to make jelly from without the addition of some other type of fruit, such as apple, currants, etc.

The word Legacies to me has many definitions. So After some research. These are some I found.

1.) Memories passed down by word of mouth.

2.) To be remembered.

3.) What one leaves behind.

Everyone leaves a legacy. Many are just never recorded. When someone enjoys a food you cooked, this is part of your Legacy. When we talk or write about our family, we are leaving their legacy.

I joined the Navy on May 20 1943 just before I was to be 18 years old. I was sent to the US Navy boot camp in San Diego California. From there I went to Electricians school also in San Diego. In December I was then assigned to the not yet finished USS Comfort AH6 as communications electrician. I became one of the communication electricians and movie operator.
